We are looking for a
Gate and Doors Estimator to join our Team


In this role you will:


  • Perform periodic customer business reviews in conjunction with Business/Sales Development Team and Operations as appropriate.
  • Ensure timely lead response, initiate contact with customers to gauge satisfaction and communicate any important information.
  • Be a primary contact and advocate for existing customers within the territory and act as the primary collaborator with Operations to ensure customer satisfaction standards are maintained.
  • Achieve department revenue targets by managing account retention and renewal, corrections/deficiency quotes.
  • Manage customer revenue building activities and sales opportunity pipelines and triage customer priorities to determine what orders need to take priority.
  • Provide High Quality Service Hand Offs (turnover forms, clear scopes, teamoriented).
  • Propose services for the customers and complete turnover in a timely manner.
  • Develop product knowledge concerning all products and services relevant to position.
  • Perform site walks as necessary for accurate quoting of deficiencies.
  • Manage current workload volume and complete any incoming requests from external sources.
  • Maintain a positive relationship with customers and pass on information to the appropriate personnel for follow up, quotes, questions, or concerns.

Requirements:


  • 1 to 3 years' sales experience in a Fire & Life Safety or related industry with a proven record of accomplishments.
  • 3+ years' experience in the Trade(s) in the Inspection, service and installation of gates and doors is preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical or business discipline or equivalent experience preferred.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to work with doors and gates, hardware specifications and takeoffs.
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints and floor plans.
  • Experience with developing cost estimates and proposals.
  • Understanding of NFPA 101 and NFPA 80 life safety and fire codes.
  • Ability to locate and research needed materials associated with estimating deficiency and new system work.
  • Valid state issued driver's license with acceptable driving record.
