This newsroom position requires the ability to develop good enterprise stories, make and maintain contacts as well as the ability to handle multi-platform content responsibilities.
Duties/Responsibilities will include (but not be limited to) the following:
- Log and identify great video and compelling soundbites
- Understanding of and adherence to AP Style (for digital platforms) and broadcast writing (for television)
- You must have solid news judgment, excellent communication skills, and the ability to write clearly and concisely
- If you cannot meet your deadlines, multitask in a fastpaced environment, and keep smiling, this is not the job or newsroom for you
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Must be available to work evenings and weekends
- Must have a responsible social media presence
