Line Cook – Mercado (Elevated Fast Casual)
Mercado is hiring an experienced Line Cook to join our fast-paced kitchen team. We serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner featuring fresh salads, wraps, grain bowls, sandwiches, and grilled items in a counter-service environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cook and prepare menu items (grill, sauté, breakfast, salads, sandwiches)
- Accurately cook proteins to proper temperatures is required
- Follow strict food safety and temperature control standards
- Maintain a clean and organized station
- Assist with prep, stocking, and closing duties

Mercado está contratando un Cocinero de Línea con experiencia para unirse a nuestro equipo de cocina de ritmo rápido. Servimos desayuno, almuerzo y brunch con ensaladas frescas, wraps, bowls de granos, sándwiches y opciones a la parrilla en un ambiente de servicio en mostrador.
Responsabilidades:
- Preparar y cocinar alimentos (parrilla, salteados, desayuno, ensaladas y sándwiches)
- Cocinar proteínas a temperaturas correctas es obligatorio
- Cumplir con normas estrictas de seguridad alimentaria y control de temperatura
- Mantener la estación limpia y organizada
- Apoyar con preparación y abastecimiento durante el servicio
Requisitos:
- Experiencia como cocinero de línea requerida
- Conocimiento sólido de temperaturas de cocción y términos de cocción es esencial
- Experiencia en parrilla y salteados; desayuno es un plus
- Disponibilidad para mañanas, fines de semana y días festivos
- Buena actitud y trabajo en equipo
Salario competitivo según experiencia.
REQUIREMENTS
- Line cook experience required (fast casual/high volume preferred)
- Strong knowledge of cooking temperatures and doneness levels is a must
- Grill and sauté skills; breakfast experience a plus
- Ability to work mornings, weekends, and evenings (dinner service ends at 8:00 PM)
- Team player with strong work ethic
