Description

As a Master Electrician, you will be responsible for overseeing electrical projects, ensuring compliance with electrical codes and regulations, and providing technical expertise in troubleshooting and installations. Working in various settings such as residential, commercial, or industrial environments, you will lead a team of electricians to deliver high-quality electrical services safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities:

Lead and supervise a team of electricians, apprentices, and helpers in the execution of electrical projects, providing guidance, training, and mentorship as needed.

Plan, organize, and coordinate electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance activities according to project requirements, timelines, and budget constraints.

Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine the layout, wiring, and placement of electrical systems, fixtures, and equipment.

Ensure compliance with local, state, and national electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards in all electrical work performed.

Perform electrical inspections, testing, and troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues, ensuring the functionality and safety of electrical systems.

Install, repair, and maintain electrical components, circuits, and systems, including wiring, switches, outlets, lighting fixtures, and electrical panels.

Coordinate with contractors, engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to clarify project specifications, resolve technical issues, and ensure project success.

Procure materials, tools, and equipment necessary for electrical projects, maintaining inventory levels and tracking expenditures.

Maintain accurate records of work performed, including project documentation, inspection reports, and equipment maintenance logs.

Provide technical support and advice to clients, colleagues, and project teams, addressing inquiries, concerns, and recommendations as needed.

Qualifications:

Valid Master Electrician license issued by the relevant regulatory authority.

High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an accredited electrical apprenticeship program.

Minimum of 5 years of experience as a journeyman electrician, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.

Thorough knowledge of electrical principles, practices, and techniques, with expertise in residential, commercial, or industrial electrical systems.

Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to effectively lead and motivate a team of electricians.

Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail in diagnosing and resolving electrical issues.

Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.

Ability to work independently or collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
