Posting Summary:

Teachers College Record (TCR) is looking for an editorial assistant. This is a great opportunity to get familiar with the very wide range of education research. You'll learn about different research questions, data sources, and methodologies.


Job Summary/Basic Function:


CHARACTERISTIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Search TCR's extensive database to link manuscripts with appropriate peer reviewers
  • Update database with new reviewers, their current information, and recent publications
  • Helping associate editors manage the peer review process
  • Support TCR events such as the writing workshop, book talks, and presentations to TC staff and students

Minimum Qualifications:


  • Very good interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of educational research and scholarship
  • Attention to detail
  • A commitment to the field of education

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Experience with online publications and/or publishing systems
  • Knowledge of educational research and scholarship

Salary Range:

$28.50-$30

Hybrid
