Overview:


Our long-term client relationship with NASA has led to a need for a
Mission Logistics Systems Integrator on the Human Space Flight Technical Integration (HSFTIC) contract at Johnson Space Center (Houston, TX).

Responsibilities:


The
Mission Logistics Systems Integrator will:


  • Act as a "System Owner" of logistics on behalf of the Artemis Gateway Program and provide comprehensive recommendations to optimize requirements, objectives, and constraints.
  • Perform system development activities including, but not limited to requirements identification, verification and tracking, and working with crossfunctional teams to ensure logistics objectives are met.
  • Coordinate with technical teams to ensure requirements and schedules are met.
  • Be responsible for decomposition of requirements, requirement compliance, and requirement development.
  • Control configuration management of planning documents and software development.
  • Track logistic traffic model levels, dynamic tactical changes, and strategic objectives/threats to inform program risk posture and recommend resupply/use plans by authoring and presenting technical recommendations as required.
  • Evaluate and design processes to optimize efficiency in but not limited to data integration, data source validation, community awareness, planning methodologies, accommodation acceptance, and programmatic risk acceptance.
  • Complete whatif analyses and develop reporting capabilities.
  • Leverage historical data to identify performance trends on various timescales and corresponding lifecycle phases to inform recommendations.
  • Interpret customer objectives and decompose them into modeling assumptions and inputs to maximize the fidelity for inventory management projections.
  • Interpret customer feedback to adjust formatting and messaging to maximize understanding for a broad audience in standalone products.
  • Integrate across multiple disciplines and programs to ensure all parties are coordinated and working to the same assumptions and expectations.
  • Be dedicated to innovative and critical thinking to resolve complex resource management, supply chain management, and logistics planning issues.
  • Be dedicated to quality assurance and attention to detail.
  • Specific tasking may include, but are not limited to projects in the following areas:
  • Data analysis on spacecraft systems and processes.
  • Requirements development and management.
  • Optimizing parametric studies.
  • Identifying risk, mitigations, and recommendations to meet integrated priorities.
  • Developing/updating training materials for new/evolving areas.
  • Support to senior management at NASA boards and panels.
  • Coordinate and support realtime cargo processes during attached phase operations when applicable.
  • Support overtime, shiftwork and travel on a periodic basis to support program reviews and technical interchange meetings (TIMs).
  • Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications:

Required Education/Experience/Skills:


  • BS Degree in Engineering from an accredited Engineering school.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint)
  • Excellent communication (in both written and verbal), integration, coordination, and presentation skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and team working skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work well in a team and independently
  • Basic knowledge of engineering principles.

Preferences:


  • Two (2) Years of work experience.
  • Previous Engineering Internship completed.
  • Previous experience with logistics, resource management, supply chain management, or operational management
  • Previous experience with innovation or process improvements.
