Job Description

Overview: We are currently seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our team. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for operating a forklift to move, stack, and retrieve materials within a warehouse or distribution center environment. If you have experience operating various types of forklifts and are familiar with warehouse management systems, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities:

Safely and efficiently operate a forklift to move materials throughout the warehouse or distribution center
Load and unload trucks using a forklift or other powered equipment
Stack and store materials in designated areas
Perform inventory checks and ensure accuracy of stock levels
Utilize warehouse management system to track and record inventory movements
Follow all safety protocols and adhere to OSHA regulations
Perform routine maintenance on forklifts and report any malfunctions or damage
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and meet production goals

Skills:

Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to troubleshoot minor issues with forklifts
Proficiency in operating various types of forklifts such as order pickers, reach trucks, cherry pickers, and hi-lo
Familiarity with warehouse management systems for inventory tracking
Experience in order picking and working in a distribution center environment
Ability to load and unload materials safely and efficiently
Knowledge of OSHA regulations pertaining to forklift operation
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills If you have the necessary skills and experience,
