The Research Associate, under general supervision, performs data engineering, analysis, presentation of results, writing up reports and papers for dissemination.

Compensation will be commensurate to the selected hire's experience.
Other Requirements or Other Factors:
This is an onsite job and requires the staff to be in the office on most days.
Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree
- Two years of relevant professional experience
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others
- Some basic level of coding skills in some programming languages (e.g. excel, tableau, R, python, SQL, SAS,
- STATA, SPSS, MPLUS, Matlab)
- Ability to work independently and troubleshoot
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree
- Knowledge of health, medicaid
Responsibilities:
Research Data Analysis
- Coordinates with Principal Investigator (PI) on data analysis writing reports, papers, and presentations.
Research Data Management & Engineering
- Coordinates with Principal Investigator (PI) on data management & engineering processes and setting up data
- May assist PI in identifying funding opportunities and assist in writing grant proposals.
Mentoring/Supervising Duties
- Mentors undergraduate and master's students in the lab.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
