At Moldtronics, Inc. we provide molding, machining, design, mold building, and manufacturing services, for the aviation, defense, and commercial industries.


INJECTION MOLDING PROCESS TECHNICIAN RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Setup injection molds and the auxiliary equipment required.
  • Process all types of resins including many engineering grade resins.
  • Set up and process for production thermoplastic, thermoset, & compression molds.
  • Hang & set up molds.
  • Troubleshoot molding processes, cycles, and equipment.
  • Handling and signing out material.
  • Fill hoppers / dryers.
  • Separate runners.
  • Accurately complete necessary paperwork.
  • Work closely with the team (operators, quality department, and management).
  • Keep molding machines / equipment / area clean and organized.
  • Maintain safe work area in neat and orderly manner.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

INJECTION MOLDING PROCESS TECHNICIAN QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Positive attitude.
  • Processing and troubleshooting of processes ability.
  • Experience with engineering grade resins (PPSU/ PEEK/PEI/ Etc.) is a big plus.
  • Strong mechanical, analytical and problemsolving abilities.
  • Ability to pay close attention to detail.
  • Good written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to meet deadlines.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
  • PHYSICAL DEMANDS: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms; talk and hear.
  • Must be able to lift, carry, pull, push up to 75 pounds.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • We are an ITAR facility and hire only U.S. persons who are defined as U.S. citizens or green card holders.

Work an 8-hour shift while performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; bending; stooping; twisting; use hands to handle items; and reach with hands and arms.

  • Monday
  • Friday
  • Core Hours of 4:00pm 12:30am

COMPENSATION:

$24 - $35 per hour depending on experience and skills.
