    Description


    Leading Upper Montgomery County manufacturing company has an IMMEDIATE DIRECT HIRE need for a CNC Machine Operator to operator the CNC machinery in a manufacturing, production environment.

    The CNC Machinist will be responsible for new and repeat jobs, typically of short duration.


    Responsibilities:

    • Operation and dimensional and visual inspection of parts produced on Manual and CNC equipment.
    • Perform and produce precision metal components by means of cutting, drilling, milling, boring and broaching as specified by work order, blueprints, drawings or templates.
    • Operator machine tools in a tool room environment including conventional mills, lathes, surface grinders, drill press and saws.
    • Perform hand operations including but not limited to filling, fitting, scraping, and polishing.
    - machine parts to specifications, using secondary operation machine tools.

    • Monitor the feed and speed of machines during the machine process and adjust as needed.
    • Use precision measuring instruments, including micrometers and calipers, fixtures and gauges to check accuracy of work against drawings and specifications to ensure consistency.
    • Use ERP systems for daily logging of labor, as well as proper completion of shop travelers to comply with ISO standards.
    • Able to conduct minor edits on the machines as needed.
    Job Requirements


    Qualifications:

    • Experience working with various of materials, including stainless steel, carbon steel, aluminum, plastics and special alloys.
    • 3+ years experience operating CNC Machines.
    • Able to read drawings and blueprints.
    • Ability to work from written and verbal instructions.
    • Valid driver's license.
    • Ability to work OT.
