Description

GENERAL JOB DUTIES
Develop volunteer and recreational opportunities for individuals served. Assist in Discovery Process for those interested or thinking about community employment. Network with the community to promote Kreider's community services program.

Promote volunteer sites to individuals supported in a positive manner, role model at volunteer sites and provide modification and correction action to individual supported to ensure success.

Follow-up with individual supported and coordinator at volunteer sites. Ensure individuals supported receive education, exposure, and experience a variety of community opportunities.

QUALIFICATIONS

Good leadership, organization, communication, and presentation skills.
Ability to be independent, organized, selfmotivated, and a selfstarter.
Flexibility required; volunteer, recreational, ComEd program may occur on weeknights/weekends.
A valid driver's license required with a driving record acceptable to agency insurer.
High School diploma or equivalent required.
DSP trained with trainings current.
Previous supervisory experience preferred.
Ability to build community partnerships essential.
