- Current license to practice as a registered nurse in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts with authorization by the Board of Registration in Nursing to practice in an expanded role.
- Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Board Certification
- Registered with the State of Massachusetts and DEA for prescription writing privileges.

Description

POSITION SUMMARY:

ABOUT THE Critical Care/MICU A & B DEPARTMENT AT BOSTON MEDICAL CENTER:Boston Medical Center has two medical intensive care units (MICUs). One consists of 17 beds (MICU A) and the other consists of 10 beds (MICU B).
Patient populations on these units consist of the most acute medical patients including multisystem failure, renal failure, acute respiratory distress syndrome and sepsis.
EDUCATION:
Master's degree in nursing required. Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Board Certification is required.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS REQUIRED:
EXPERIENCE:
Prior critical care experience required.
