Research assistant - Parkman, United States - Eclipse Innovations
Description
Your tasks:
- Independent processing and coordination of research projects as well as presentation of results internally and externally (e.g. to industrial partners, at national and international conferences, in scientific journals)
- Design of suitable test setups and supervision of test bench experiments
- Independent adaptation of CAD models (Siemens NX) and supervision of component production
- Conducting calculations, evaluating simulation results, and comparing them with measurement results
- Supervision of exercises and tutorials in teaching (e.g. lecture "Machine Elements")
- Possibility for promotion
Our requirements:
- Above-average degree (preferably in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, engineering informatics or a comparable field)
- Excellent knowledge of mechanics, mathematics, and machine elements
- Knowledge of electrical engineering is an advantage
- Experience in programming measurement and evaluation programs (preferably Labview, Daisylab, and Matlab)
- Independent, results-oriented, and team-oriented work style
- Good English and German skills
