Description
The Diesel Technician will preferably possess the knowledge to maintain, repair and service diesel truck engines, including transmissions, brake systems, electrical systems, cooling systems as well as basic mechanical skills.
This job function will include; troubleshoot & repair 12-volt wiring and lighting, air leaks, brake shoes and drums, bolts on parts, i.e.
steering pumps, steering boxes, AC compressors, blower motors, basic wet & dry preventative maintenance & cleaning shop, as necessary. Must have your own tools.This technician will work in a timely manner yet still focus on the quality with problem solving skills, communication and safety.
Certification not required; if you have automotive mechanic skills we can elevate it to diesel status. The position is Monday through Friday, some Saturdays (as needed) and O/T approved.
