    About the Company:

    Our team at HCSS is dedicated to creating highly scalable products for the Heavy Civil Industry. We are in search of a Cloud Database Administrator to manage our cloud-based database systems. Your role involves designing, maintaining, and optimizing the database footprint to ensure reliability, security, and performance.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
    • Proven experience as a database administrator, particularly in a cloud setting.
    • Advanced knowledge of database management systems and cloud platforms like Azure & AWS.
    • Familiarity with database administration tools and solid troubleshooting skills.
    • Effective communication and teamwork capabilities.

    Preferred Skills:

    • Certification in cloud platforms (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate).
    • Understanding of big data technologies and infrastructure automation tools.

    Responsibilities:

    1. Database Design and Implementation: Create and optimize database elements for applications.
    2. Database Maintenance and Monitoring: Track performance and troubleshoot issues.
    3. High Availability and Disaster Recovery: Implement recovery and failover solutions.
    4. Automation and Scripting: Automate database management tasks.
    5. Collaboration and Documentation: Coordinate with other teams and provide technical support.
