    *Maintenance Mechanic
    • Maintenance Mechanic
    * *$31 - $33 an hour* + *10% shift differential* for *3rd shift** *3rd Shift
    • Manufacturer of components for the Aerospace industry
    • Location: Morgantown, PA
    We are working with an established industrial engineering company based in *Morgantown, PA.

    *They are recruiting for *Maintenance Mechanic *to join their team, *on 3rd shift (12am-8am)* in return for a salary in the region of *$31-33ph (10% shift differential added for 3rd shift), *along with excellent employment benefits which include 401K, Healthcare, Vision and Dental, PTO and Life Assurance.


    The *Maintenance Mechanic* needs to possess a strong hands on background in mechanical maintenance, directly related to operating in a 24/7 manufacturing environment.

    Requires considerable working knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics and motor controls.


    Duties:

    • Troubleshoot, modify and repair control systems and equipment
    • Maintain presses, furnace equipment and heavy industrial machinery
    • Perform calibrations and adjustment in accordance with approved standard procedures
    • Functional testing of repaired boards and parts
    • Tag and inventory boards and parts to indicate repair and test status
    • Plan and coordinate installation of new plant equipment
    • Installation of control circuitry (motor, hydraulic, pneumatic, etc.)
    • Document repairs, service, calibrations, etc
    • Plan and perform preventative maintenance
    • Maintain inventories of parts and supplies; gain required approvals and order parts
    • Recommend modifications to improve reliability and productivity of equipment
    • Work with management to resolve recurring problems and follow-up on the effectiveness of the solutions
    • Use and maintain standard electronic test equipment that includes: digital multi-meters, VOMs, oscilloscopes, vacuum metering, semiconductor testers, etc.
    • Assist in the coordination of electronic components that require off-site repair (i.e. cameras, monitors, crane controls, etc.)

    Qualifications:

    • 3 years' experience as a Mechanical Technician in an industrial/manufacturing environment OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • Knowledge of motor control circuits
    • Knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems
    • Firm grasp of health and safety codes
    • Strong mechanical aptitude
    • Proven ability to plan and complete projects and assignments from conception to completion
    • Ability to work with contractors of various craft
    • Ability to communicate effectively
    • Willingness to work any shift and any day of the week (including weekends) and overtime as and when required
