Introduction
Within ASML, the Customer Support (CS) sector is responsible for the maintenance and continuous improvement of ASML systems at customer locations.
One of the departments in this sector is CS DUV UIR, which is responsible for providing preparation, planning and execution support to customers and other CS segments.
DUV UIR's goal is to install, upgrade, and relocate leading edge lithography systems safely, at the customer site, within specifications, on time, with quality, and exceeding the customer's expectations.
The DUV UIR Line Manager will be responsible for the local UIR team and project management of DUV upgrades, installations, and relocations (UIR) at assigned customer site(s).
They will be responsible for building strategic relationships based on a foundation of trust and delivering on your project plan(s).
They will also be required to foster teamwork ensuring that the rotational team is engaged with transparent communications and supported as necessary from preparation through wrap up of all UIR activities to enable delivery of successful results.
This person will have the ability to shape and drive improvements as necessary to push through challenges and inefficiencies to deliver results.
Role and Responsibilities
- Manage Project, Customer, Team, and deliver on planned commitments.
- Manage small team of 24 project leaders and Team Leader overseeing a group of MI/SIE engineers.
- Foster a spirit of teamwork and camaraderie with positive work environment despite high volume work.
- Maintain balance within team on ASML values of challenge, collaborate, and care.
- Strong relationship building and negotiation skills to balance the needs of both, customer and team.
- Drive Safety and quality across the operation.
- Formulate, organize, coordinate, and monitor interconnected projects.
- Define and execute strategies to achieve business objectives.
- Lead and evaluate project leaders and other staff.
- Develop and control deadlines, budgets, and activities.
- Manage risk by proactively identifying issues on key resource requirements (Manpower capability, Materials, and action plans/procedures) and engaging with other departments as necessary to close gap.
- Assume responsibility for the program's assigned resources and suppliers.
- Assess program performance and report KPI results, continuous improvement plans, and risks/help needed where applicable to Senior Management.
- Assist in resolving technical escalation associated with the project by pulling in necessary resources.
- Drive continuous improvement.
Education and Experience
- Bachelors degree in a technical field or similar degree with equivalent years of experience. Masters degree preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of experience leading teams of 1015 employees and delivering high quality results.
- Minimum 510 years of experience as a Project Lead, Operational Manager or Project Manager in a semiconductor environment.
- Knowledge of semiconductor lithography preferred.
- PMP certification a plus.

- Position will require travel up to but not limited to 30%.
