The purpose of the Fitness Sales Manager is to generate new membership sales by driving leads into the studio and booking them into intro stretches through community outreach, social media, and corporate partnership developments.

The Fitness Sales Manager also assists with retaining current members.


REQUIREMENTS:


  • Excellent sales, communication, and customer service skills required
  • Goaloriented with an ability to achieve sales in memberships for oneonone and retail
  • Ability to learn and use the Club Ready software system
  • Ability to stand or sit for up to 8 hours throughout the workday
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with lead Flexologist and owners
  • Must be able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Daily and/or occasional travel may be required
  • An affinity and passion for fitness
  • Highly organized, proficient in data management, ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
  • Professional, punctual, reliable and neat
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Trustworthy and ability to handle confidential information
  • Ability to lead and work harmoniously with coworkers, clients and the general public

RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Manage the front desk to greet and checkin clients and prospects when they enter the studio
  • Manage the sales process of lead generation, follow up, and closing
  • Book and confirm intro stretches
  • Conduct tours of the facility while establishing a relationship and targeting individual's needs and wants
  • Maintain acceptable level of personal sales production
  • Emphasize and enforce objectives of the club as a fitness and wellness provider
  • Present available services to current or prospective members
  • Book quality appointments to achieve monthly sales quota and followup with leads and missed intro classes
  • Participate in special events (health fairs, grand openings, marathons, and community and hospital events) to promote the club
  • Lead generation including GrassRoots Marketing and Networking for local studio as well as "coming soon" studios
  • Drive Membership sales through outside sales and business development efforts for local studio
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the fitness studio
  • Schedule and participate in networking/community events and studio promotions for local studio
  • Review resumes and conduct initial phone interviews for potential Sales Associate position
  • Other duties as assigned
