Inside Machinist (Large Machine Operator) level 2 - 1Q24 (Offsite)

Requirement

Five years minimum experience as a Inside-Shop Machinist.

Skills:

Safety orientated.
Proficient with Numerical Controlled Processes, Manual Data Input, Tooling Offsets, Conversation Controllers, etc.
Operate Manual and/or NC machines such as: lathes, mills, horizontal & vertical machining centers, EDMs, etc.
Proficient with controllers such as: Fanuc, Siemens, Acramatic, Cincinnati-Milacron, etc.
Proficient with the use of precision measuring instruments: outside/inside micrometers, depth mics, verniers, etc.
Proficient with threading and the various measuring/gauging requirements.
Drilling/tapping processes.
Familiar with carbide machining processes.
Ability to comprehend complex mechanical drawings and blueprints.
Strong math skills.
Machinist or Tool & Die Apprenticeship Required Safety Training.

Key Responsibilities:

Safety: Maintain a strong focus on safety and adhere to OSHA standards. Attend safety training as required.
Machining: Operate manual and numerical controlled machines, including lathes, mills, and EDMs. Proficiency with controllers such as Fanuc, Siemens, Acramatic, Cincinnati-Milacron is preferred.
Precision: Use precision measuring instruments like outside/inside micrometers, depth mics, and verniers to ensure accurate machining.
Complex Drawings: Comprehend complex mechanical drawings and blueprints to carry out machining tasks.
Math Skills: Utilize strong math skills to make precise measurements and calculations.
Tooling: Familiarity with threading, drilling, tapping, and carbide machining processes.

Safety Training / Qualifications:Required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment):

All Personal Protective Equipment is to be provided by the Leased Labor Provider Company and must meet OSHA and ANSI requirements.
This includes safety glasses, hard hats, hearing protection, and audiometric testing.

OSHA Training:

Confined space trained in accordance with OSHA Standards 29 CFR 1915 Subpart B.
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE*) training in accordance with OSHA Standards 29CFR 1915 Subpart I and Hearing Conversation 29CFT
PPE training.

Job Details:

Job Type: Full-time.
Salary: $ $27.31 per hour.
Expected hours: 40 per week.

Benefits: Paid time off.

Schedule: 8 hour shift.
Supplemental pay types: Overtime pay.
Work Location: In person.
