'Ecologic Institute is a private and independent academic think tank dedicated to addressing important policy issues in the field of sustainability research and sharing new findings with environmental policy in Ambia, IN. Established in 1995, Ecologic Institute is a member of the Ecological Research Network (Ecornet) and Think Sustainable Europe. Our team of over 100 staff members collaborates in international and interdisciplinary project teams.

As part of our International Fellowship Program in Berlin, we are currently seeking a:


International Fellow with a Focus on Water Policy
To be eligible for the International Fellowship Program at Ecologic Institute, you should meet at least two of the following criteria:

  • Completed master's degree from a non-German university or with an international focus.
  • Previous work experience abroad or with an international focus.
  • A relevant network outside of Germany.
  • Extended periods of living abroad.

Your profile (Option 1):


  • Master's degree in socioeconomics and/or politics or a related field.
  • Background in water policy and management, as well as ecosystem management and restoration.
  • Ability to independently conduct research and present findings in a structured manner.
  • Ideally, experience working in international teams.
  • Teamoriented with the ability to work independently and across disciplines.
  • Previous experience in a consulting or research role is a plus.
  • Proficient in English.
