    Duties

  • Assisting in preparing, evaluating and conducting biological analyses of public rangeland projects. Develops and implements Allotment Management Plans (AMPs) in accordance with the land use plans.
  • Participates in monitoring and surveying activities that may impact sensitive shrub and pasturelands.
  • Provides input to interdisciplinary reports, environmental assessments resource management plans, and protective stipulations for rangeland ecosystems.
  • Makes recommendations to supervisors and managers within policy and regulations.
  • Reviews range permits applications to ensure compliance with appropriate federal law.
