Description

Responsibilities:

• Safely and responsibly operate a variety of vehicles, including vans, buses, and delivery trucks
• Transport passengers or goods to their destinations in a timely manner
• Follow all traffic laws and regulations to ensure the safety of passengers, pedestrians, and other drivers
• Communicate effectively with passengers or clients to provide excellent customer service
• Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking from vehicles, if applicable
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the vehicle
• Perform routine inspections and maintenance checks on the vehicle to ensure its proper functioning
• Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding vehicle operation and safety

Experience:

• Previous experience in driving roles such as paratransit, commercial driving, limousine, school bus driving, shuttle driving, or delivery driver is preferred
• Familiarity with local roads and routes is a plus
• Ability to maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and other relevant information

Skills:

• Excellent communication skills to interact with passengers or clients in a professional and courteous manner
• Strong attention to detail to ensure the safety of passengers and cargo
• Ability to adapt to changing traffic conditions and make necessary adjustments to routes or schedules
• Good problemsolving skills to handle unexpected situations on the road
• Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision
