Full job description
CACFP Assistance is seeking applications for a part-time (up to 24 hours per week) Food Program Specialist for the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP).
The Specialist is responsible for conducting in-person reviews of regulated childcare providers in compliance with the CACFP. The Specialist will also be responsible for recruiting providers to the CACFP, providing technical assistance to childcare providers, providing training to facility staff, processing monthly claim reimbursements, and other related office duties such as filing and answering phones.
CACFP Assistance is based out of the Greensboro, NC area and serves childcare facilities throughout the state of North Carolina.
On-the-job training is provided with team support.
Travel within the state is required (travel expenses are reimbursed).
