- Review project plans and specifications to understand project requirements.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for earthworks excavation, earthmoving, and utilities projects.
- Analyze labor, equipment, materials, and subcontractor costs to develop accurate estimates.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to refine project cost estimates.
- Maintain knowledge of industry best practices and cost trends.
- Participate in pre-bid meetings and discussions with clients and subcontractors.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 4 years of heavy civil construction estimating experience, with a focus on earthworks excavation, earthmoving, and utilities.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and equipment.
- Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
