    ABOUT THE COMPANY

    Creative Culinary Management Company (CCMC) is a hospitality company founded in 2020 by Jean-Georges Restaurant Holding Company. Based in New York City's Seaport in Lower Manhattan, CCMC manages a variety of acclaimed restaurants at the Seaport, each offering unique, world-class dining experiences. The company aims to leverage its team's extensive knowledge and passion for hospitality to create memorable guest interactions—from family-friendly dining on historic cobblestones to intimate waterfront dining on Pier 17, rooftop dining concepts with exceptional views of Lower Manhattan, and a diverse selection of globally-inspired dining establishments throughout the Tin Building by Jean-Georges—a 53,000-square-foot culinary marketplace at Pier 17 on the former site of the Fulton Fish Market.

    ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

    The Tin Building by Jean-Georges is a sprawling food emporium located inside one of New York's most historic landmarks. The TIN Building features multiple unique venues: full-service restaurants, fast-casual and counter dining outlets, and 10,000 sf of retail showcasing private label products, grab-and-go options, groceries, and more. To support this significant operation, the Marketplace includes a large commissary kitchen, bakery, and an exhibition kitchen for media opportunities.

    The Howard Hughes Corporation, a nationally recognized real estate company overseeing the redevelopment of New York City's Seaport District, envisions transforming the area into a hub that attracts both locals and visitors with a distinctive blend of year-round entertainment, culinary experiences, and retail offerings. At the heart of the Seaport District's revitalization is the reimagined historic Tin Building, featuring a unique Marketplace and entertainment venue managed by renowned chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten.

    POSITION SUMMARY

    The Associate of Quick Service will play a key role in bringing the vision of the TIN Building to life by delivering exceptional guest service across various functions.



    ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
    • Offer cross-service support to all Quick Service functions
    • Complete food preparation tasks neatly, accurately, and promptly
    • Set up Quick Service stations and maintain displays neatly, including separating allergens (nuts, wheat, etc.)
    • Prepare items by weighing, labeling, packaging, and serving products
    • Adhere to department policies on quality, health, safety, and sanitation standards
    • Handle cash register operations with accuracy and ensure billing authenticity
    • Flexible schedule availability required
    • Perform additional duties as needed

    KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
    • Strong verbal communication abilities
    • Capacity to stay organized in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
    • Prior experience in food service is a plus
    • Familiarity with cash register operations is advantageous
    • Food Handling License is preferred
    • Intermediate computer skills
    • Bachelor's Degree is a bonus
    • Passionate, entrepreneurial, and committed to success

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
    • Able to safely and successfully perform essential job functions, meeting standards like the ADA, FMLA, etc.
    • Punctual attendance in line with regulatory standards
    • Lift and carry items weighing 10 – 30 pounds regularly
    • Ability to stand for extended periods
    • Operate equipment within the QSR departments
    • Moving about on foot to accomplish tasks efficiently
    • Regularly climb steps


    The base pay for this role is $16 per hour. Actual compensation depends on various factors such as work history, qualifications, and skills.
