    Opportunity:

    Registered Nurse - PCU

    Job Details:


    • Minimum 1 year of experience required; first-time travelers accepted

    • Patient population includes adolescents to geriatrics

    • Patient ratio: 1:4-5 (high staffing ratio unit)

    • Mixed MS/Tele and intermediate patients including neuro, respiratory, cardiac, and mixed medical

    • Assignments may be all PCU, all MS/Tele, or a mix depending on patient acuity and staffing

    • Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH

    • Must be skilled in titrating cardiac drips and telemetry monitoring

    • Unit systems: Epic, Pyxis, SBAR

    • Scrub color: Navy blue

    • Every other weekend schedule unless specified elsewhere

    • Floating required within facility/scope of practice as needed

    • No call requirements

    • Holiday work requirements based on number of holidays during assignment period

    • Maximum 7 days RTO with blackout dates during Spring Break (April 4th-12th)

    • Full compliance required to start on time

    • Georgia or Compact license must be in hand at time of submittal

    • Two supervisory references highly preferred at submission

    Facility:

    This healthcare facility features a 36-bed progressive care unit that serves as a stepdown unit with a mixed population of medical/surgical and stroke patients. The facility provides comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, radiology, rapid response teams, and transportation services. The organization maintains high standards for patient care and operates with modern technology systems to support nursing staff in delivering quality healthcare services.
