Job Duties:


  • Read and implement care/activities of daily living (ADLs) according to the resident service plan.
  • Respond to resident and other team member needs in a timely manner.
  • Prioritize communication between other team members using group messaging and twoway radios
  • Demonstrates empathy and develops caring rapport with residents and other employees.
  • Willing to support and lift other team members when they are struggling or learning a new process
  • Promotes resident independence and selfcare.
  • Delivers and documents resident care and services in accordance with individual service plans.
  • Maintains accurate and complete records of delivered care in the electronic health record.
  • Completes incident reports sensitively, accurately, and timely.
  • Understands safety and infection control processes and demonstrates practices to control the spread of communicable illnesses.
  • Promotes a clean, orderly, and safe environment including performing housekeeping, when needed.
  • Recognize, respond, and communicate with the maintenance team to keep the community, work environment, and resident apartment in a clean, comfortable, and safe condition.
  • Adopt a code of conduct in how we behave with team members, visitors, vendors, and others in accordance with Company values.

Qualifications:


  • AZ Caregiver certification.
  • Memory Care experience is an advantage.
  • Must have the availability to work for 1 weekend day.
  • Proven experience as an empathetic caregiver and valued team member.
  • Committed to employee and resident health & safety.
  • Reliable, punctual, and willing to work the established schedule.
  • Excellent communication and people skills and willingness to offer solutions to identified challenges.
  • Ability to learn how to use the electronic health record to document according to regulation and Company policy.
  • A patient, willing, positive, and compassionate attitude toward others.
