Job Requirements

Act as a consultant to customers regarding products and projects.
Deliver excellent customer service by actively listening to customers and working to find a solution to complex problems.
Act as a consultant to assist customers in selecting the right products, ensuring accurate quotes, verifying correct price labels, and confirming that all customer needs are met.
Provide paint product knowledge that includes the ability to identify and explain various:
Paint (i.e., economy or premium)
Paint finishes (i.e. eggshell, flat, satin, and semigloss)
Painters' tools, including brushes, paint sprayers, power washers, edgers, rollers
Uses of adhesives, solvents, caulk
Faux and decorative finishes
Demonstrate a proper ability to manufacture paint (including color tinting and matching).
Perform routine paint machine maintenance and maintain a work area that is clean of debris.

Work Experience

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
1+ years of Retail Experience or equivalent experience.
Prior experience in retail paint sales or professional painting is highly preferred.
Knowledge of Benjamin Moore Paint and paint color matching preferred.
Weekend Availability Required.
Positive and professional personality.
Vital customer service and organizational skills.
Must be able to lift up to 80 pounds.
Frequent lifting and carrying of objects weighing up to 25 pounds.
Must be able to complete storerelated physical activities (walking, standing, talking, hearing, twisting, pushing, reaching, seeing, stooping/crouching, smelling, depth perception, identifying colors) as needed.
