Job Offer: IT System Administrator (m/f/d)

Location: Cologne

About us: As a renowned personnel service provider, we support our clients in the search for qualified professionals. For one of our clients, we are looking for an experienced IT system administrator to complement and support the existing team.

Responsibilities:

  • Administration and support of Windows servers, VMware, Citrix, and network components including routers and firewalls
  • Ensuring availability, maintenance, and further development of existing infrastructures as well as implementation of new technologies
  • Implementation of security measures, update and patch management, as well as backup and recovery
  • Support of the help desk, analysis and resolution of disruptions, user support
  • Coordination with external partners and service providers, automation of processes

Requirements:

  • Completed training or degree in computer science, business informatics, or a comparable qualification
  • Sound knowledge in the areas of data center operations, networks, VMware, Microsoft Server, Exchange, Citrix, and storage
  • Experience with SharePoint, Teams, or Microsoft 365 is an advantage
  • Fluent in German, both written and spoken
