We are looking to hire a Community Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of one of our Apartment buildings in Battle Creek, MI.

Responsibilities include:


  • Coordinating and overseeing repairs and unit turns
  • Understanding financial goals and cost/benefit operational decisions
  • Coordinating and overseeing apartment and building repairs and tenant improvements
  • Ensuring Tenant needs are met, fostering a positive rapport with Tenants
  • Performing or directing daily, weekly, and monthly physical property and apartment inspections
  • Directing maintenance personnel, helping with follow through on repairs and maintenance
  • Ensuring maintenance and repairs are performed in a timely manner and per schedule
  • Reviewing vendor and contractor invoices
  • Working with the Maintenance department and the Leasing department to ensure that all vacant space is in "market ready" condition at all times
  • Analyzing and reviewing rents
  • Exploring and implementing practices for expense savings and efficiencies

Minimum Requirements:


  • Bachelor degree or some college
  • 12 years of Apartment Property Management experience
  • Effective communication skills
  • Strong financial analysis skills
  • Strong customer service/people/teambuilding skills
  • Ability to manage and direct others
  • Ability to execute new ideas
  • Adaptable to change
  • Ability to exude calm and confidence in occasionally stressful and high energy situations
  • Entrepreneurial and business growthoriented outlook and approach

$50,000.00 per year

Experience:


  • Property leasing: 2 years (preferred)
Property Management: 2 years (preferred)


Ability to Relocate:

  • Battle Creek, MI 49015: Relocate before starting work (required)
