Job Summary:

We are a large company, currently seeking hard-working, dependable personnel to join our team. Our business operates 24/7 year-round and has been serving the City of Chicago for over 45 years.

Full-time employees are currently being hired as Data Entry Clerk for the following City of Chicago Auto Pounds - 701 N.

Sacramento Blvd and 10301 S Doty Ave.


Responsibilities:

• Receive and process customers whose vehicles have been impounded.
• Verify and document incoming vehicles.
• Be able to work variable shifts which may include weekends, holidays, and overtime.
• Maintain a regular, dependable attendance record.
• Maintaining high standards when following the City of Chicago's strict safety and compliance procedures.
• Must have a strong grasp of appropriate and professional verbal/written communication.
• Have high computer literacy skills.

Required Skills:

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
• Pass a background check.
• Pass a drug test.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to sit, stand, walk, kneel and bend as needed.
• Estimated percentages for each type of activity: Standing 10%, Walking 10%, Sitting 50%, Bending 15%, Kneeling 15%.
• May require sitting for prolonged periods.
• May require walking on unlevel surfaces periodically throughout the day.
• Reaching above shoulder heights, below the waist or lifting as required throughout the workday.
• Must be able to lift up to 70 pounds at times.

Pay:
$16.80 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
