Position Title:
Salesforce Service Designer

Location:
Hybrid, Washington, D.C.

This is a direct-hire, full time position with salary and benefits.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Translate customer requirements into feasible Salesforce solutions
Collaborate with business analysts, technical staff and other key stakeholders to identify best solutions to address customer needs
Utilize workflow models to define individual states and transaction tasks and design into Salesforce accordingly
Document best practices and operational procedures while implementing continuous improvement within the environment

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

MS in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or other related scientific or technical discipline.
Eight years of experience in information systems development, functional and data requirements analysis, systems analysis and design, programming, program design and documentation preparation.

Of the eight years, a minimum of five years specialized experience is required in the following:
demonstrated experience in managing the implementation of information engineering projects and experience in systems analysis, design and programming.

Customercentric with superb verbal and written communication skills
Keen understanding of state and workflow models and how to configure in Salesforce
Experience with Mulesoft and data pipelines
Experience with designing the Salesforce data model to integrate with outside data systems
Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance

Nice to have's:

Salesforce Public Sector Solutions Accredited Professional
Experience in AWS cloud engineering (S3, API Gateway, queues, etc.)
Experience with Grants Management
Preferred certifications: Salesforce Developer, Salesforce Service Cloud Consultant, Salesforce Strategy Designer, Salesforce User Experience (UX) Designer
Currently hold a Public Trust clearance with Department of Transportation or Department of Homeland Security
