    Description

    Job Description

    A client of Insight Global's is looking for a Sr. Configuration Manager to support their team out of Montgomery, AL. This individual will support a full-time position, currently working hybrid (two days on-site, three remote.) This individual will join a team of 24 other cyber individuals to review and ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of systems, networks, and data. They will be a part of the planning, analysis, development, implementation, maintenance, and enhancement of information systems security programs, policies, procedures, and tools. The configuration management piece will be heavily software, managing software inventory, creating system configurations from scratch.

    There is a focus on managing configurations of software, engineering documents, design drawings, engineering changes and notices, as well as planning and conducting design audits to ensure government ownership of the program's technical baseline. Additionally, providing CM of relevant system artifacts and maintaining CM files, including change control and status accounting records, is an essential responsibility. Reviewing and gauging the development/sustainment contractor's CM program and data deliveries, with a keen eye for accuracy, completeness, and compliance, is also a crucial part of the role.

    In terms of qualifications, the ideal candidate should have advanced knowledge, experience, and recognized ability in the technical/professional field are highly valuable. The individual should be adept at performing tasks independently and overseeing the efforts of less experienced personnel. Additionally, proficiency in the Atlassian Tool Suite and CompTIA Security + CE is preferred. They'll need to either have an active secret clearance, or the ability to obtain their secret clearance.

    Skills and Requirements

    Ability to obtain secret clearance or active secret clearance

    IAT II Certified

    5 years of true cyber experience -- RMF, ATO's, ATC's

    5 years of eMASS/RMF

    Experience facilitating CM audits, managing software inventory, creating system configurations from scratch

    Atlassian Tool Suite experience null
