Now Hiring: Experienced Line Cook
Silver Gulch Brewing & Bottling Co. – Fox, Alaska
$18–$24/hour DOE + 2% share of food sales (typically adds $2–$3/hour)
Full-time or Part-time | Year-round | Dinner service
Silver Gulch Brewing & Bottling Co. is seeking an experienced, dependable Line Cook to join our established kitchen team. This role is well-suited for a cook who takes pride in solid execution, clean plates, and steady service — and who values working in a kitchen where expectations are clear and professionalism matters.
Located in Fox, just north of Fairbanks, Silver Gulch has been serving Alaskans since 1998. Our brewpub focuses on from-scratch cooking, brick-oven pizzas, wild Alaska seafood, and a menu that balances consistency with seasonal creativity.
What You'll Do
- Prepare and execute menu items from scratch during dinner service
- Work grill, sauté, fry, oven, and brick-oven pizza stations as needed
- Plate accurately and consistently, maintaining presentation standards
- Follow established recipes, specs, and food safety practices
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workstation
- Communicate clearly with the kitchen and FOH during service
- Support a smooth, professional service flow
- Assist with prep, inventory awareness, and special requests as needed
What We're Looking For
- 1+ year experience in a professional kitchen (from-scratch preferred)
- Strong knife skills and working knowledge of food safety and sanitation
- Ability to stay calm, focused, and productive during busy services
- Reliable, punctual, and accountable — this matters here
- Team-oriented mindset with respect for coworkers and the craft
- Experience with catering or events is a plus, but not required
- Must have reliable transportation
