    Position Overview

    Cherokee Nation is seeking a highly skilled

    Level 3 Radiology Echo Technologist (Cardiac Sonographer)

    for a contract assignment. The Echo Tech will perform advanced diagnostic cardiac ultrasound procedures to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating cardiovascular conditions.

    Key Responsibilities

    Perform comprehensive transthoracic echocardiograms (TTE) and other cardiac ultrasound procedures.
    Capture high-quality diagnostic images following established protocols.
    Analyze and document preliminary findings for physician interpretation.
    Operate and maintain echocardiography equipment.
    Ensure patient safety, comfort, and confidentiality during procedures.
    Collaborate with radiologists, cardiologists, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
    Maintain accurate records in accordance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.
    Adhere to infection control and quality assurance guidelines.
    Required Qualifications

    Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field.
    Current ARDMS (RDCS) or CCI (RCS) certification required.
    Minimum 2–3 years of recent experience in cardiac sonography (Level 3 preferred).
    BLS certification (AHA).
    Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and pathology.
    Excellent communication and patient care skills.
    Work Environment

    Hospital-based Radiology Department.
    40 hours per week (4x10 schedule).
    Fast-paced clinical setting requiring strong technical and critical thinking skills.
