    Job Summary:
    Seeking a skilled Cardiac Sonographer (Echocardiographer).

    In this role, you will perform high-quality diagnostic cardiac ultrasound procedures for a diverse patient population within the Cherokee Nation.

    You will be part of a mission-driven team dedicated to providing state-of-the-art cardiovascular imaging in a patient-centered, community-focused environment. Key ResponsibilitiesTransthoracic Echocardiograms (TTE): Perform comprehensive 2D, M-mode, and Doppler (color, power, and spectral) ultrasound studies of the heart and surrounding structures

    Complex Measurements:
    Accurately calculate ejection fraction, valve areas, and pressure gradients to assist cardiologists in diagnosing conditions like heart failure and valvular disease

    Stress Echocardiography:
    Assist with pharmacological or exercise stress tests, capturing wall motion images under physiological stress

    Procedural Assistance:
    Support Transesophageal Echocardiograms (TEE) by managing equipment and ensuring high-fidelity imaging during the procedure

    Patient Advocacy:
    Communicate the procedure clearly to patients, ensuring comfort and safety throughout the exam

    Requirements & QualificationsCertification:
    RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer) via ARDMS OR * RCS (Registered Cardiac Sonographer) via CCI

    Experience:
    Minimum 1–2 years of experience in an acute care or high-volume clinical setting preferred

    Education:
    Graduation from a CAAHEP-accredited cardiac sonography program

    Life Support:
    Current BLS (American Heart Association) required

    Technical Skills:
    Proficiency with advanced echo platforms (e.g., GE Vivid, Philips Epiq) and PACS reporting systems.
