    Regional One Health, home to one of the busiest Level I Trauma Centers in the nation#is looking for energetic, dynamic, and caring#nurses to work on our new#Medicine Stepdown#Unit


    JOB SUMMARY AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
    ##Provides professional#nursing care to# medicine step-down patients#utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate#patient care.#The nurse#will be caring for a patients with a variety of medical conditions to include (but not limited to) Cardiovascular conditions, sickle cell disease, cancer,#renal failure, hypertension,#CVA, etc.

    ##Graduate of an approved nursing school/program.##

    Qualified by education, training or experience to work with the school-age, adolescent, adult and/or geriatric patient population as specialty assignment dictates.

    ##1-2 years of clinical nursing experience is preferred. ICU Step-down experience is a plus.#Will train newly licensed Registered Nurse.#Experience#in patient care as obtained#through completion#of an approved nursing#program. An ability and willingness to apply#nursing knowledge and skills and maintain#clinical#competency as required in assigned medical-surgical unit#(Must satisfactorily complete applicable Medicine/Surgery, Sickle Cell or Forensic required training within three (3) months of assignment to unit).

    Heavy Work - Exerting up to 150 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 75 pounds of force frequently , and/or up to 30 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
