$89,648 - $109,820, Home Office Grade 9

THE OPPORTUNITY

  • YES Prep needs a dynamic Director of School Operations, with a diverse set of experiences to make our mission a reality.   • To put it simply, you will play an integral role in providing guidance, leadership coaching, and mentoring to campusbased operations leaders. Additionally, you will be adding project management and implementation capacity to Home Office strategic projects, strategic initiatives, and providing thought leadership on systemwide operations policy issues.

THE ROLE

  • When you join the YES Prep team, some of the exciting work and responsibilities will include:
  • Driving the two main revenue sources for the district, student attendance and enrollment for your cohort of campuses;
  • Partnering with Heads of Schools to colead campuses in an identified annual portfolio;
  • Acting as School Operations leaders to lead incident command as a key effort as part of Response Team;
  • Leading operational strategy for all school operations efforts including final decision making rights to ensure business continuity and risk mitigation;
  • Accelerating and lead master scheduling efforts to ensure every student has access to the necessary coursework to reach student achievement goals;
  • Provide direct oversight of campus discretionary spending to minimize loss and optimize resources;
  • Identifying process improvements at the systemlevel to gain organizational efficiency;
  • Conducting onsite audits, process improvement analyses and ground level support at all sites as needed
  • Performance managing front office sites including evaluation, growth, and accountability
  • Leading the hiring and onboarding process for operations leaders on campus;
  • Managing between 6 to 8 Directors of Campus Operations in collaboration with Principals;
  • Generating creative solutions to drive business continuity at all sites given external and internal challenges;
  • Providing ongoing coaching, training and mentoring to campus operations leaders;
  • Providing strategic advice, thought partnering and policy recommendations and development to Home Office Operations team leadership;
  • Providing assistance to campus operations leaders with inspections, schedules, maintenance of student information systems and related work duties;
  • Liaising with the Home Office team to problem solve and provide solutions for campusbased operational needs and concerns;
  • Providing campus Operations support as needed during campus operational role transitions;
  • Acting as a liaison with appropriate District departments to support campus operations on projects and deadlines related to the daytoday operations of the schools;
  • Performing regularly scheduled coaching sessions with campus operations leaders to achieve excellence in their role;
  • Assisting in the development of standard operating procedures, codification of operational best practices;
  • Additional duties as assigned.
