    The Role:

    The Project Manager is responsible for the management of all aspects of solar module and cell production projects, including project planning, budgeting, buyout, project controls/reporting, scheduling, risk management, etc. The Project Manager will also provide both technical expertise and leadership internally and externally for project success.


    Your contribution to our vision (responsibilities):

    • Initiate projects, creating the project charter.
    • Plan and control projects based on the project management plan created, especially with regard to: project baselines (including scope, schedule, cost), quality management in projects, communication (development of communication plans), resource planning, and risk management (identification of risk, qualitative and quantitative analysis, risk response planning), stakeholder engagement.
    • Create detailed equipment specifications, tool related check lists. (FAT,SAT)
    • Manage scope/schedule/cost changes within the projects.
    • Coordinate with vendors to understand and assess installation methods, labor needs and manpower forecast.
    • Close group-wide collaboration with the specialist departments involved (in particular Fab Engineering, PMO, CIP, HR, and Purchasing).
    • Monitoring/controlling and closing of projects as well as reporting to management.
    • Ensure project documentation, reporting lessons learned (weekly & daily reports).
    • Performs other related duties as assigned by direct supervisor.

    You bring:

    • Bachelor's degree in related engineering discipline, or economics with specialization in project management.
    • At least seven years of experience in project management, production equipment and/or automation, engineering, systems design, or other related field.
    • Team-based, solution focused with strong skills in analysis, high level of attention to detail, and comfortable with numbers and spreadsheets.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Effective written and verbal communication.
    • Strong time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines and adaptability.
    • Excellent budgeting and cost containment skills.
    • Excellent organizational, record keeping skills, and attention to detail.
    • Good capability to learn and execute defined procedures and processes carefully and accurately.
    • Ability to be accurate, precise and follow set procedures, rules and regulations.
    • Proficiency with MRP/ ERP (SAP preferred) software platforms and Microsoft Office/ 365, (Outlook, Excel, and Word) MS Project.
    • Language skills: fluent in English.

    A Plus:

    • PMP certification.
    • Experience in AutoCAD and AutoCAD Inventor
    • CAD experience in 2D or 3D project designs.
    • Bilingual/ Spanish or German.
