Technical Program Director, Power Generation - Phoenix, United States - Aligned Data Centers
Description
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Drive selfgeneration projects across North America
- Lead and expand the team of generation project managers.
- Manage and expand relationships with key generation and EPC partners
- Oversee HV & generation equipment procurement alongside ADC Procurement.
- Lead all aspects of highvoltage projects, including scope, schedule, & budget
- Negotiate contracts with generation EPCs
- Track and report on power project status for all North American generation sites
- Drive and own utility portfoliolevel budget and financial reporting.
- Collaborate cross functionally to deliver power capacity in line with customer demands
- Foster relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to deliver power generation developments, including ADC partners, utilities, EPCs, and equipment vendors
- Prepare executive updates and project update presentations for senior leadership.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, construction, or equivalent professional experience
- 5 or more years of power generation development experience.
- 5 or more years or more years' experience running multiple projects at the same time or related professional experience
- Knowledge of power generation industry partners and HV/MV manufacturers
- Be able to travel up to 25% of the time or as needed to support projects
