Sheet Metal Journeyman for our commercial team.

McCarthy is looking for team members that have a proven commitment to safety and can be committed to a full-time schedule in Phoenix, AZ.

Key Responsibilities

Ducts, Dampers, Louvers, Pumps, Fans, Variable Air Volume, Fan Coil Units, Cabinet Unit Heaters, Heat Pumps, Air
Handlers, Roof Top Units.
Plastics, Fasteners, Flanges, Sealants, and Hangers.
Receives direct supervision and performs technical responsibilities.
Coordinates own tasks with a specific range of responsibilities under established procedures.
Contributes to a team under general supervision of an experienced professional or manager.
Skilled specialist that demonstrates reliable judgment in resolving issues and making recommendations.
Promote a positive learning environment in mentoring and directing of apprentices.
Understand and implement lockout/tagout procedures for safe and secure task(s)
Perform testing, inspecting, and recording for all roughin installations as required by building codes and project.
Maintain all tools and equipment in serviceable condition.
Use materials and other resources conservatively to promote project success and profitability.
Participate in the orientation of new partners on your job site.
Install all systems and products per code, specifications, submittals, and contract documents.
Provide applicable input promptly to maintain current "As-Built" record drawings.

Qualifications

Minimum 4 years' experience.
Demonstrates understanding of McCarthy Safety Guidelines and Procedures.
Exceptional safety knowledge of tools, testing devices and surroundings

- $1.00 increase to base pay if licensed.
