- Successful completion of ultrasound or cardiovascular technology program with emphasis on echocardiography or RCS Certification is required or eligibility is required,
- A minimum of 15 echo-related CMEs required per three year period as required by ICAEL standards
- Previous experience in performing all modalities of cardiac non-invasive testing is preferred
- Maintenance of required BLS Heart Health Care Provider course completion status is required
- Successful completion of all required orientation programs is required
- At least one year of relevant work experience
- Successful completion of ultrasound or cardiovascular technology program with emphasis on echocardiography or RCS Certification is required or eligibility is required

- 2D Echocardiogram, M-Mode color Doppler
- Stress tests include nuclear stress, stress echocardiograms and cardiopulmonary stress tests
- Assist with transesophageal echocardiograms
- Holter monitor hookup
- Participates in unit quality improvement projects
