The base hourly rate for this position is $20.00

General:
Responsible for the safe operation of an asphalt coater machine.

Always assist operator Loads full rolls of paper on unwind machine. Reviews the quality of the paper to make sure quality specifications are met. Sets up automatic splicing machine and operating parameters. Threads paper and assists operator at web breaks. Assists operator to setup and run the printing section. Assists in all product changeovers. Checks product parameters to make sure production specifications are met. Control waste flow to paper baler, operate paper bailer. Unloads master rolls from down under equipment, uses overhead hoist to locate rolls at cuffers (1,2,3). Perform 5S and housekeeping functions while machine operates. Operate a touch screen display and make minor control adjustments to maintain paper tension and asphalt flow. Follow safety practices and use required PPE.
