Veterinary Recruiter - Sacramento, United States - PetVet Care Centers
Description
Reporting to the Manager of Veterinary Talent Acquisition of PetVet Care Centers, the Veterinary Recruiter will work closely with Hospital Medical Directors, Administrators and the PetVet Talent Acquisition team to attract, secure and retain exceptional veterinary talent.
Responsibilities:
- Recruiting and hiring doctors based on needs identified by Hospital Administrators and the Operations Leadership
- Recruiting of hospital support personnel based on needs identified by the Hospital Administrator
- Develop and maintain current, effective job listings through the ATS system
- Create advertising content, place ads where appropriate for each type of position
- Maintain a vibrant and active hospital presence on LinkedIn and other professional Social Media platforms
- Drive innetwork and external referrals
- Know the Denver Metro DVM talent pool and connect by leveraging contact through networking and cold calls
- Work closely with Sourcing team to execute targeted campaigns and social media content
- Stay current on new avenues to connect with talent
- Assist Operations team with offer formulation; compose, discuss and assist with the negotiation of employment contracts
- Maintain relationships with regional campus contacts to build pipelines
- Minimum of 2 years of veterinary recruitment experience
- Strong communication, multitasking and business partnering skills
- Ability to grasp new platforms and software intuitively
- Ability to selfdirect
- Ability to identify and grasp broad objectives
- Ability to consolidate information and actions into reportable formats
