With over 3,000 events managed yearly, we oversee the tech needs of major Fortune 500 Company events and prominent trade shows, being present at anything from auto shows to global economic summits.

Today, our dedicated team of over 250 professionals across the nation proudly drives our operations. Based in Las Vegas, our headquarters houses our national customer service, accounting, and technology teams, in addition to our Network Operations Center (NOC) providing Internet security services and round-the-clock monitoring for all our networks.


Summary of Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and nurture client relationships, consulting primarily with exhibitors on their Internet and Telephony needs to deliver tailored event solutions
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to exhibitors' internet connections
  • Expand expertise by cross-training as a networking technician for event setups to enhance knowledge of technology sales
  • Process customer orders and promote value-added services
  • Handle financial transactions and provide on-site desk support when required
  • Utilize company database and research tools to analyze past event data
  • Create comprehensive quotes for clients, ensuring accuracy and timely updates
  • Maintain detailed records in the company database, keeping all changes current
  • Manage finances for assigned events, addressing billing discrepancies and suggesting additional services when necessary
  • Proficiently operate the company's proprietary software system
  • Adhere to all company policies and regulations
  • Offer proactive support for customer approvals pre-event and onsite, obtaining signatures for requested services
  • Prepare reports for each show site
  • Collaborate with team members from other departments to address customer sales and service issues

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED required. At least 3 years of customer/exhibitor service experience preferred
  • Knowledge of data networking products/services is a plus
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on telephone customer service and customer interaction
  • Proficiency in PC skills, Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and 10-key entry preferred
  • Availability to work occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and exercise sound judgment
  • Employment at Smart City Networks contingent on successful background check completion
  • Onsite position with mandatory proof of vaccination on the first day of work
