- Work closely with departmental managers to determine future network needs and plan for network changes.
- Provide end user support as needed and record issues in ticketing system.
- Coordinates and monitors troubleshooting to isolate and diagnose system problems.
- Support network operations and maintenance to include installing upgrades.
- Configures (and documents configuration of) computers, networking devices, and various peripheral equipment.
- Provide assistance in resolving basic technology and cyber support issues.
- Maintains file servers, Firewalls, network access, Security Monitoring Systems and system documentation as required.
- Performs scheduled tape backups on systems as required.
- Bachelor's or associate degree in a computer-related field.
- Minimum of one of the following certifications A +/Network +/Security + preferred.
- Mush be able to complete complex projects with minimal to no supervision.
- Experience with Microsoft Office 365 and SharePoint is a plus.
- Prior experience in a corporate environment is a plus.
- In-depth experience with virtualizations platforms, specifically VMware.
- Moderate enterprise networking including VLAN, STP, WAN, traffic analysis, and managed switch configuration are a must.
- 3+ years of experience working with computer hardware, software, and operating systems.
