    Senior Marketing Communications Specialist BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated Senior Marketing Communications Specialist for an opportunity in Redmond, WA for a

    Pay Range:
    $40-$45 Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.). Summary The main function of a Communications Specialist is to assist corporate communications with message development, writing, and editing.


    Job Responsibilities:

    Responsible for ensuring timely, creative and accurate dissemination of news, multimedia content and information Create a variety of content for platforms, ensuring quality, accuracy and effective storytelling that aligns with corporate messaging, including press releases, newsletters, blog posts, social media posts, webinars, podcasts, videos, infographics, and presentations.

    Coordinate and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, such as legal AI experts, lawyers, researchers, developers, consultants, media, and industry associations, to amplify messaging Top 3 Hard Skills Required Years of Experience Minimum 8 years experience with storytelling.

    Minimum 8 years experience of creating senior level PowerPoint videos.

    Minimum 8 years experience with project management (to ensure the sponsor can give them work and they will be able to complete the work).


    Candidate Requirements Years of Experience Required:
    More than 8 overall years of experience in the field


    Degrees or certifications required:
    A degree in marketing or communication would be preferred but not required if they have high level job experience


    Disqualifiers:
    Candidates that are job hopping will not be eligible for the role


    Best vs Average:
    The ideal candidate will be creative and can create expert level PowerPoints. Marketing storytelling experience. Experience with AI imagine generators and graphic design would be ideal. The ideal candidate would also have excellent communication skills and excellent written communication. Any experience working in legal or regulatory environments would be great but not necessary.


    Performance Indicators:
    Performance will be assessed based on meeting deadlines and quality of work

    Summary:

    Verbal and written communication skills, negotiation skills, customer service and interpersonal skills. Basic ability to work independently and manage one's time. Basic knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services. Basic knowledge of media production, communication and dissemination techniques and methods. Experience in video production is preferred.


    Education/Experience:
    Bachelor's degree in marketing or equivalent training preferred. 8-10 years related experience required.

    Hard Skills Assessment Process:
    The assessment process will include 2 rounds with sponsor and possibly another colleague


    Required Candidate Preparation:

    Candidates should have examples of their prior work (video productions, written newsletter communications or PowerPoint infographics) prepared prior to the assessment.
