Summit Transportation Inc.

is one of the largest Contracted Service Provider for FedEx Ground in Virginia and is looking to hire dependable full-time delivery drivers to join our team.

As a delivery driver you will deliver FedEx Ground packages daily to residential and business locations.

You will be assigned to one of the following local areas of Chester or Chesterfield & dispatch from the
Chesterfield, VA terminal every morning.

This position requires delivery drivers to be able to maneuver, carry and lift and lower packages that can weigh up to 150lbs.

There is a consistent routine of repeatedly climbing in and out of a truck, walking small distances and going up and down flights of stairs multiple times a day.

We provide our delivery drivers uniforms your first week on the job.

There will be paid training to ensure our delivery drivers are equipped with the skills to complete their routes in a timely manner.


Delivery Driver Position Requirements:

Must be over 21 years of age

Must have Valid Driver's License (CDL not required)

Pass a physical exam

Pass a pre-employment drug screen

Must pass a criminal background that goes back 10 years

Must have a clean driving record. No DUIs

Must be able to commit to a 6-day work week with weekend availability & a start time of 8am.

From $42,120.00 per year
