The Walt Disney Pavilion at AdventHealth for Children is looking for an exceptional and dynamic, fellowship-trained pediatric neurosurgeon to join our program in Orlando, Florida.
Ideal candidate would have several years of experience as well as specific interests in brain tumors and craniofacial surgery, which will be in collaboration with our new, dedicated pediatric neuro oncologist and a plastics craniofacial surgeon respectively.
Our program is led by our Chief of our newly reorganized division of pediatric neurosurgery, Dr. As part of AdventHealth for Children, we have a dedicated 8 bed epilepsy monitoring unit. Diagnostic facility includes a state-of-art 3T MRIs, PET, SPECT, MEG center, and Gamma Knife.The physician would work in conjunction with a multidisciplinary team including pharmacology, psychology, pediatric neurology, pediatric radiology and pediatric epilepsy.
The goal is to become a leading best practice model that is research based, data driven and led by experts.
We are the longest continual member of COG in the Central Florida community.Our surgical epilepsy program is the second busiest program in the nation and that we have been number one in volume in Florida for 10 straight years.
One the medical side, our pediatric neurology and epilepsy team is also continuing to expand as we provide care for patients from around the country in our Level IV program.
