    Do you want to be a part of a dynamic team supporting a vital federal agency? Are you highly organized, detail-oriented, and a natural problem solver? We're seeking a Facilities Administrative Coordinator to provide essential support services to the Facilities Management Division of our respected government client. Your role will ensure the smooth day-to-day operations of a large-scale office environment, contributing to the agency's mission of sharing unbiased news and information worldwide.

    Location: Washington, DC

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Customer-focused Help Desk: Serve as the initial point of contact for all facilities-related inquiries, handling requests via phone, email, and walk-ins with efficiency and professionalism.
    • Request Management: Manage service requests using Ivanti Service Manager (or similar), including creation, assignment, tracking, and follow-up to ensure timely resolution.
    • Administrative Excellence: Maintain accurate documentation, from contact lists and parking logs to supply requisitions, ensuring everything is up-to-date.
    • Communication and Coordination: Coordinate with internal teams, external vendors, and building management to expedite solutions and maintain seamless facilities operations.
    • Office Logistics: Manage mail distribution, maintain office supply inventories, and organize meeting spaces for a functional workplace.
    • Proactive Support: Contribute to the safety and well-being of the agency by assisting with maintaining safety equipment and first aid stations.

    Qualifications:

    • High school diploma or equivalent.
    • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in an administrative support role (General Clerk III or equivalent); Experience working within a government environment (Federal, state, local) highly preferred.
    • Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams) and Adobe Acrobat.
    • Experience using Ivanti Service Manager or a similar ticketing system.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills, using tact and diplomacy.
    • Ability to multitask, prioritize efficiently, and meet deadlines independently.
    • A positive, resourceful attitude and a willingness to take initiative.
    • Must be able to pass a comprehensive background investigation; Individuals with a Public Trust or NACI clearance highly preferred.

    Work Schedule: Onsite-Full-time; Monday- Friday 8:00 AM- 5:00 PM
